Students in this SparkTank program will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate between education, business, and community through projects
- Design, construct, rework, and finish projects
- Students will also have the opportunity to work on personal passiona projects
- Incorporate technology and equipment in the metals lab
- Students will develop proficiency in Oxyacetylene gas, cutting, MIG & TIG welding, as well as PlasmaCAM, machine lathe, milling, grinding and tool sharpening.

- GOPIP (Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress)
We did all the labor work, all the building, welding, crafting it all, cutting it apart, and bending it. It was really different because we had a certain timeline we had to get it done so you couldn’t rush it but you also had to make it perfect.
